TRM Sill is a "peel and stick" non-chemical termite barrier installed directly on concrete beneath the sill plate to block subterranean termite entry.
Key Features of TRM Sill:
- Type: "Peel and stick" supplemental non-chemical termite barrier.
- Installation: Applied directly on the concrete underneath the sill plate.
- Function:
- Blocks entry of subterranean termites at a common entry point.
- Acts as a barrier to moisture and energy leaks.
- Can block entry at the exposed underside of the sill plate.
- Sizes: Available in 66.7-foot rolls with widths of 6", 9", and 12".
- Certification: It is the only waterproofing membrane that meets ICC AC 380 (ICC-ESR 3632) Acceptance Criteria.
- Adhesion: Use of a primer, such as Polyguard's 650 WB Liquid Adhesive, is recommended for superior adhesion.
