Cold Flex™ Membrane is a 135-mil high strength waterproofing and crack reduction membrane installed as a “peel and stick” material, which can be applied hot applied or self-adhesive. Cold Flex™ SA has a top layer of high strength fabric, with a thick layer of rubberized asphalt adhesive sealant to provide stress relief and waterproofing. The stress relief layer is reinforced with a second layer of high strength fabric.

Cold Flex™ Membrane, applied to cracks or joints on existing pavement prior to installation of a new asphalt overlay, reduces the occurrence and severity of reflective cracking in the new overlay. Additionally, the membrane will act as an "umbrella" over cracks or joints, reducing moisture penetration of the existing pavement and subbase.
