TRM Isolation Joint is a "peel and stick" termite barrier composite designed for sealing isolation (cold) joints.
Key Features of TRM Isolation Joint
- Type: "Peel and stick" termite barrier composite.
- Application: Used for sealing isolation joints (cold joints).
- Installation Timing: Applied before the pour of a new slab that butts against an existing interior slab.
- Ideal Placement: Ideally installed above any rebar on the existing concrete side of the new pour.
- Post-Installation Requirement: A UV stable sealant or caulking should be applied on top of the joint after the new concrete is placed.

Non-structural barrier
Acts as a barrier to termites entering the structure through cold joints
Consists of a laminated elastomeric membrane which has a TRM Sealant adhesive on both sides
Total thickness is a nominal 3/8”

Embedded within the TRM Isolation Joint is a 4” wide stainless steel screen, with aperture opening of 0.018”
