California Sealant is a porous architectural sealant designed to prepare geotextile fabric surfaces for optimal adhesion with Polyguard sealants in Underslab and Blindside membrane applications while also meeting stringent VOC regulations.
Key Features of California Sealant:
- Promotes Adhesion: Seals porous geotextile fabric surfaces to ensure strong bonds with Polyguard sealants like LM-85 SSL, LM-95, Detail Sealant PW™, and Fabric Tape.
- Versatile Application: Ideal for sealing laps and penetration areas of Underslab and Blindside Membranes where geotextile fabric meets adjoining membranes and substrates.
- VOC Compliant: Meets the South Coast Air Quality Management District regulations (Rule 1168 © (2) Adhesion and Sealant Applications, Feb. 1, 1991 version).
- Application Precaution: Not to be used with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).
- Hazardous Material Classification: Classified as a hazardous material, requiring a brief approval process before shipment.
