RG-AccuTrowel
| AccuTrowel is a hand held metering trowel tool set that range in size from 2" to 12" and are manually operated providing a means to accurately determine mil thicknesses when applying viscous coatings to pipe surfaces. AccuTrowel works perfectly with all RG-2400 products to make sure your pipe coverage is precise, and also saves material by removing any excess gel. AccuTrowel matches most standard pipe sizes and specifications. AccuTrowel sets are available in 2 sizes: Full Set: 2", 2-1/2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8", 10", 12" Short Set: 2", 4", 6" 8", 12" Glove RG-2400 on the pipe until you cannot see the substrate at all, using the proper trowel size, place the AccuTrowel on the pipe and holding it at a 90 degree angle, slide it down the pipe removing excess from the trowel as required and put it back in the bucket, or on the next section of pipe, repeat the process around the entire pipe. Use a small amount of RG excess build up from the trowel on your finger to smooth out the trowel tracks. Some imported pipe will come to the job site egg shaped or slightly oval in shape. The AccuTrowel may not fit on these odd-shaped out of spec pipes very well. |
